Yesterday afternoon March 12, the Vietnam women's national team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, concluding their journey participating in the 2026 Asian Cup held in Australia.

The flight carrying the team departed Perth at 10:10 AM on March 12 (local time) and landed in Ho Chi Minh City at 16:30 on the same day (Vietnam time).

Before leaving Perth, the team received attention and encouragement from representatives of the Vietnam Consulate General in Perth and many Vietnamese community members living locally who came to the airport to bid farewell.

After arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, team members parted ways to return to their localities. The group of players and coaching staff from the northern region continued their connecting flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, landing at 23:00 last night.

Closing their journey at the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup finals, the players will return to their parent clubs to continue preparing for professional tasks in the coming period.

Korean referee officiates Ninh Bình – CAHN match.

The focal match of round 16 of the LPBank V-League 2025/26 between Ninh Bình Club and CAHN Club at 18:00 on March 14 will be officiated by a Korean referee.

Referee Kim Woo-sung and referee Choi Cheol-jun are invited to officiate the match, which is expected to create a turning point for the championship race this season.

Referee Kim Woo-sung, born in 1987, is a familiar figure in Vietnamese football. He has officiated many matches for Vietnam's national teams at various levels, including the 2024 AFF Cup semifinal between Vietnam and Singapore.

Referee Choi Cheol-jun, born in 1994, will officiate a V-League match for the first time. Referee Choi Cheol-jun is on the list of referees officiating in K League 1.

The match between Ninh Bình Club and CAHN Club is the fourth match this season where the organizers have invited a foreign referee to officiate.
