Dinh Bac officially speaks out amid the pressure of 'goal drought' in V-League

The striker born in 2004 opts to keep his own optimism in the challenging journey called V-League.

Dinh Bac is currently the most prominent figure receiving significant attention in Vietnamese football. The striker from Nghe An has had an exceptionally outstanding year, consistently shining in youth tournaments and with the Vietnam U23 national team. Most recently, Bac earned the "Top Scorer" title at the 2026 AFC U23 Championship with 4 goals. Notably, he is also the first Vietnamese player to achieve this honor at this competition.

However, after returning to V-League, Dinh Bac is facing a harsh reality. According to statistics, despite having played 6 matches for his club after the AFC U23 Championship, he has yet to score any goals. Specifically in V-League, the Nghe An-born player also has not found scoring success after over 1000 minutes of play (13 rounds). For a forward, that number quickly becomes a topic of discussion among fans.

Facing these challenges, Dinh Bac chooses to maintain optimism and patience. Sharing on his personal page after CAHN's 1-2 loss to Hanoi FC, he stated: "Still like before...
