On March 12 Beijing time, the Warriors announced that Curry has missed 15 consecutive games due to right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome/bone bruise, and underwent a re-evaluation today. The re-evaluation results show Curry's recovery progress is favorable. Recently, he has been conducting individual on-court training, and based on his current recovery status, the intensity of training will gradually increase. He will undergo another re-evaluation after 10 days. Curry's last game was on January 31 against the Pistons; this season he leads the team in scoring with an average of 27.2 points per game.

This means Curry will miss at least 5 more games. Curry will definitely be absent from the following games: home game against Minnesota Timberwolves, away games against New York Knicks, Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics, and Detroit Pistons. Right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome typically manifests as swelling and pain around the kneecap. Team sources consistently indicate that Curry is extremely eager to return during the season's final stretch, attempting to lead the inconsistent Warriors through the play-in tournament into the playoffs. He will increase his on-court training intensity in the coming days.

However, Curry himself also described this right knee injury as "unpredictable." Since first experiencing the injury during a personal training session in Minneapolis on January 25, he has encountered setbacks. He originally hoped to return immediately after the All-Star break, but due to the knee recovery not meeting expectations, he had to reduce training intensity. This season, when Curry played, the Warriors' record was 23 wins and 16 losses, while without their top scorer, the team only managed 9 wins and 17 losses.

The Warriors are currently on a three-game losing streak, including consecutive losses to bottom-ranked Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz. The team's record is 32 wins and 33 losses, having been surpassed by the Los Angeles Clippers and dropped to 9th place in the Western Conference, increasingly likely to face Portland Trail Blazers in a 9th vs 10th play-in matchup.
Speaking about playing alongside his brother Seth Curry, Curry said: "It's actually been a bit disappointing because injuries have prevented some moments that should have happened. But I feel all our focus now is on trying to finish this season strong. Now it's my turn to return. Seth has been working extremely hard training and recovering over the past few months, and you've seen his efforts paying off. Now it's my turn, hopefully not too long, to be on the court together on the 30th and 31st."

"I really want to play with Curry," Warriors newcomer Porzingis stated, "Who wouldn't? I know he's doing everything to get back as soon as possible. Obviously, with him and without him, this team is completely different. Hopefully, I can get the chance to play alongside him soon."
